The Sims 2 Nightlife (NL) was released the 15th of September 2005. NL can be compared with Hot Date for The Sims 1, but it also has some new things e. g. cars that actually work, karaoke, vampires and a gypsy matchmaker. 

OFB was released in the spring of 2006. OFB gives your Sims the oppotunity to own businesses like toy stores, bars, restarants and beauty salons. The business can be on the home lot or at a community lot. OFB adds a shopping district to the neighborhood. The new shoppping district "Bluewater Village" also adds new Maxis made families to the game. 

The Sims 2 Pets is considered a remake of Unleashed for The Sims 1.

You can add cats, small and large dogs to your Sim families. There's also a parrot and a hamster-like creature called a womrat.

If your Sim gets bitten by a wolf, he might turn into a werewolf.

This EP finally adds weather to the game!

The Sims can also grow fruit and vegtables in the garden, and catch fish in the pond.

Seasons was released spring 2007.
